Lisa's Helping Hands

Lisa, who is a massage therapist, commissioned me to make a shadowbox featuring a plaster cast of her hands. She gave me a list of the things she liked, and I went to work. She likes teapots, flowers, cats, Mary Magdelene, chakras, dragonflies, Day of the Dead, jewelry, her two boys, Buddha.....

Below is the end result. The phrase I put in the book at the bottom centre of the box reads: "As you grow older, you will discover that you have two hands. One for helping yourself, the other for helping others." -Audrey Hepburn
