Eye for Art 2010

Our Lady of Perpetual Help

St. Margaret the Barefoot

St. Catherine the Astonishing

Sad but true- I've lost my mojo. Maybe my hand injury is blocking my creative flow. Who knows. Today, I entered these three shadowboxes into Eye for Art. The titles are: Our Lady of Perpetual Help, St. Margaret the Barefoot, and St. Catherine the Astonishing. They were part of a larger body of work I was creating for a solo show in 2011 but, as I said, I lost my mojo.

I am currently working on Our Lady of Perpetual Light (and have been for almost 10 months- see? Mojo's missing.) in which I've used some Tim Hortons coffee cups. I can't wait to see how that one turns out. That is one of those projects for which I don't know the outcome. It is just going to happen as it happens.

Hallowe'en is right around the corner. That usually cheers me up! Maybe the Great Pumpkin will bring back my mojo. Eye for Art is a costume party this year, so that might cheer me up, too. Boo!
