ARTspace Window

Well, it has been a very short month! In 4 days, I take down my ARTspace exhibit. The front window (above) has generated a LOT of discussion. It has been funny watching people walk by, then back up and point to one of the altered Muffys in the window. And laugh.

Exactly what I wanted!

So where does my art go from here? I'm not sure. My printmaking instructor said he'd like to see the Gallery offer waterless lithography. Maybe I'd like that. I have no idea what it is, but it sounds like there's lots of chemicals involved- COOL.

I might take basketweaving. Seriously. There's a basketweaving guild that meets at the Cultural Centre once a month and it sounds like they do some interesting things. But how will I incorporate Muffy, you ask? I won't know until I try.

I'll still do shadowboxes, but I think it might be time for me to branch out and try something different! Having a show was a very good experience for me- printmaking was the springboard.

Now I need a plan. I'm gonna make a plan. Yup- I'll get planning.
